Mrs. Kayode Adeola Adewunmi was born on the 21st of July, 1961 to the family of Chief & Mrs. Gabriel Adeyemi Adenuga.
She attended All Saint’s Primary School, Yaba (1967 – 1973) and Victory High School, Ikeja (1974 – 1979).
After her Secondary Education she later proceeded to the Protestant Teachers’ College, Idi Araba (1980 – 1982).
In 1983, in order to build up her career, she proceeded to Lagos State College of Education in Otto- Ijankin where she bagged the National Certificate of Education (NCE). In 2003, she obtained a Bachelor Degree in Education from Lagos State University.
She was employed by the defunct Lagos State Teaching Service Commission as a Classroom Teacher on the 7th of September, 1987 and she was deployed to Ojota Secondary School.
In 1992, she was re-deployed to the Post Primary Teaching Service Commission, Mainland Zonal Office (Personnel Department).
In 2003, she was re-deployed to the PPTESCOM Kosofe Zone Inspectorate Department.
At the creation of the Education District in year 2005, she was re-deployed to Education District II – Schools’ Administration Department and later in April 2014, she was redeployed to the Personnel Department later named Administration and Human Resources Department.
Presently, she is the head of General Administration Unit under the new Administration and Human Resources Department.
Presently, Mrs. Kayode a Deputy Director of Education is a member of Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT).
Her hobbies are dancing and entertaining people.
Mrs. Kayode is happily married and blessed with wonderful children.
