Born on the 10th November, 1961 to the family of Chief Oladimeji and Phebean Adeniyi-Showemimo. She attended St. David’s Primary School, Lafiaji, Lagos (1976-1973), Baptist Grammar School, Ibadan (1973-78).
She worked briefly with the Military Pension Office, Ikoyi before proceeding to the Lagos State College of Education, Ijanikin where she obtained the Nigerian Certificate in Education in 1983. She had her Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education/History from the University of Ibadan and Masters Degree in Adult Education from the University of Lagos.
She was employed by the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission as a classroom teacher on the 24th December, 1984. She was posted to St. Luke’s Grammar School, Bariga. She was redeployed to Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary Grammar School, Bariga in January, 1994.
In 2002, she was redeployed to the PPTESCOM Zonal Office, Somolu where she worked at the Monitoring and Investigating (M &I) Dept.
At the creation of Education Districts in 2005, she was redeployed to the Schools’ Administration Department (EMIS Unit).
Presently, she is the Director, Schools Support Unit (SSU)
She is a Member of Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Nigerian Institute of Teachers (NTI) and Nigerian Institute of Training and Administration (NITAD),
Her hobbies are singing, dancing and reading.
She is blessed with a glorious son Adesimiloluwa.
